States of Becoming

Curated by Julia Kaganskiy and Tairone Bastien under the theme States of Becoming, the 7th AURORA Biennial responds to a moment of profound transformation, shaped by the climate crisis, artificial intelligence and the erosion of democratic norms. After a programme of free performances, lectures and artist-led experiences across Dallas and Fort Worth (4–20 November 2026), it culminates in a one-night outdoor exhibition on 21 November at Dallas City Hall, the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library and the AT&T Discovery District.

AATB shows Imitation and Learning II, a new work after Imitation and Learning (2026), made for the outdoor night.
