AATB (Andrea Anner and Thibault Brevet) is an artist duo working extensively with robotics, incorporating programming, electronics and engineering to investigate human-machine interactions. The duo creates fantastical encounters with machines: be it a device to listen to cosmic rays at CERN, a humanoid sleeping or a large robotic arm holding and moving a hoop to create soap bubbles.

Their playful way of engaging with these often hard materials challenges how robotics is perceived and what emotional landscapes machines can evoke.

The talk is accompanied by a short research insight by Dr. Moritz Bächer, Lab Director of Robotics at Disney Research, and followed by an aperitif.
