Their Master’s Voice

AATB was founded around a strong interest in the diffusion of robotics and automation technologies outside of factory floors. For more than five years the studio has explored and questioned robotics as a creative tool for research and practice in art, design and architecture, building along the way the infrastructure and skills these highly specialised systems require. Shortly after moving from Marseille to Zurich, AATB used this masterclass to trace the milestones that brought the studio into existence and where it is heading. The second part took place by Spare Pack, AATB’s new installation in the exhibition, with insights into the research, development and production of the work.
